Dementia

The problem with Dementia and other degenerative mental effects (Alzheimer’s, for example) is they turn people you love into people you don’t love, and people you enjoy being with into people you want as far from you as possible.

Whether it is the debilitating memory loss, the fantasies, unfinished tasks, repetitive tasks, bursts of hostility, or paranoia, diseases like Dementia and others rob us of our friends and family.

If you want to see what mutations really do to the body  — as opposed to the mythology currently infesting our academia and sciences — you need look no farther than some poor soul suffering from Dementia.
