Liberalism creates poverty. Always has, always will.
It doesn’t accidentally or tangentially create poverty. It directly and purposefully creates poverty.
Hundreds of years past its first impulses (which weren’t much better) modern liberalism is designed to create the daydream of utopia. In and of itself this is ridiculous and childish, but at least superficially a ‘good fantasy’ until one realizes they want to build a future of forced equality, stripped of standards, and free from any hint of judgment, responsibility or accountability.
It is the fevered nonsense, the delirium of people who feel without wisdom and categorically, militantly and pridefully refuse to see Mankind for what he is and what he requires to build civilization.
A liberal friend asked me recently: “I know you are conservative. So, which do you think is worse: liberalism or terror-driven militant Islam?”
I responded “Liberalism.”
He was, I have to say, a little shocked. “Really?” he asked. “How can you think that?”
“Because liberalism will adamantly prevent anyone from stopping terror-driven militant Islam with the requisite force required to decimate it. Therefore, Liberalism is the worse offense.”
“Give me just one example!” he insisted.
“Racial profiling: the entire world has been set on fire by young to middle-age Muslim, Arab and Indonesian men but you, and people like you, would rather inconvenience, delay, embarrass, fondle, frisk and irradiate American soccer moms, pastors, military veterans, doctors, charity organizers, children, Congressman, police officers, newlyweds, the elderly, the crippled and infirmed, the handicapped and mentally impaired… than simply profile the very people who have proven to be of the nations, languages, and singular religion that has declared war on us and our Middle Eastern allies. As is typical of liberalism, you patently deny the actual problem and staunchly defend creating ten more injustices, each far worse than the next, to offset the first one. And because liberals will not deal effectively and pragmatically with this problem, you are in fact aiding and abetting terrorists by distracting and wearying our security forces with 300-million non-suspects who are clearly no threat to the sovereignty of the United States. Our republic is as endangered by you as by them.”
He just sat there.
